Where can we post excerpts?

Looks like I've just been granted Level 1 access *bows to the Level 1 gods* but I'm not entirely sure how it all works yet. I'm clicking around reading this and that in between playing in the snow with the youngins who are out of school, fixing hot chocolate, and baking cookies--you know--the usual mom duties for a snow day. But I digress. Is there a place on there where I can post an excerpt of a story for review? And which section would I post it in?

Have you gone and signed up on Level 1? Ah yes, I see you are there. Yay! I'm no expert, but I think you need to make sure you apply to be a Writer first (there should be a big button atop every page for that). Then you can begin to post your own pages. There's a New Page link under the nested menu on the left (once you're a Writer). It will create a new page one level below the page you're currently on, so try and make sure you're in the right place. If not, though, you can move the page later.

I haven't posted one. There are a couple that are just there at the bottom of the whole list. I don't know any more than that, sorry.

I just posted a new page and excerpt on Level 1. I'm such a noob though and there is a flag there that shouldn't be. There really is not questionable content--honest

There should be a page that is called 'Excerpts for Review', and you make a new page in there.

Don't worry - the site is not the most user-friendly. Our great goal is to produce our own home-built site, but that is a little ways off. I saw your post, Mysticat, but haven't had time to look at it yet - I look forward to it!
